3. Seguridad en el Bike Park

Enjoying mountain biking at Pal Arinsal Bike Park with maximum safety is easy, as you will ride on trails prepared and maintained by professionals. This is thanks to the tandem formed by the Bike Patrols and the Shapers, teams that ensure regular maintenance of the tracks.
But, as with any activity where you share space with others, it is necessary to follow a few simple rules of conduct:

  • You must always keep control of your bike: ride at a speed that matches your level and choose trails suited to your abilities.
  • Never stop in places where you may block the way for other cyclists, or where you cannot be seen and avoided.
  • When reaching a trail intersection, slow down and check that there are no cyclists coming from any direction.
  • Respect the Bike Park signs and never leave the marked trails, as these have been designed by experts and are maintained regularly to minimize risks on the descents.
  • If you have never put your bike on a chairlift, or if you find it difficult, ask the Bike Park staff to explain or help you.
  • If you witness an accident or notice any anomaly on the trails, contact the Bike Park technical team or call +376 878001.
  • Before you start, check that you have all the necessary equipment and that your bike is in good condition. Make sure your helmet and brake pads are in good shape, and that the handlebars, grips, stem, and saddle are properly fixed. Last but not least, ensure the tire pressure is correct.
